Sea Otter Workboats

All of our workboats are made from aluminium alloy, either 5083 or Sealium depending on use. Using this alloy gives our workboats the longevity and economical cost of ownership demanded of modern workboats. The hulls do not need painting so there are no annual costs to keep your boats looking smart, just anti-foul below the waterline.

All workboats we manufacture tend to be individually built and so this page is only intended to act as a brief introduction to what we can do.

As well as our existing boats, we can build anything in alloy that floats with a maximum possible length of 15 metres x 4 metres beam. If you have an existing drawing we would be happy to quote for your workboat project. For new design and build we have access to a naval architect with an impeccable workboat pedigree. For him to become involved, even at the quotation stage, money must change hands.

Future Projects

During 2006, we plan to build a 30' river cruiser/workboat and a 40' big brother of this boat. The 30' boat will be category C and capable of modest inshore passages. It will have up to 60 hp.
The 40' big brother version of this boat will have an option of drive. You will have the option of either shaft of jet, whichever is desired. It will also have up to twin x 250 hp.
