330AC
Cruiser
This is the same boat that was exhibited at Southampton
boat show 2006, it's now on sale at walton marine for the price
of £158,000.
Our Marine Grade, Aluminium Alloy Construction will give years
and years of trouble free ownership. There are no anodes to change.
Your boat does not have to come out of the water for annual hull
painting. This applies to fresh and saltwater environments. Your
superstructure paintwork should last 25 years before needing repainting.
Even then the substrate will be as good as new. Your hull will
last 100 years plus.
The 330AC (33’ long with an aft cabin arrangement) is a
6-berth river and estuary cruiser. Initially RCD category “C”,
but Category “B” will be coming out early in 2007
with a planning hull and twin engined configuration. At all aspects
of the build we have an eye on mainland European market with its
larger more powerful rivers.
The hull is designed by Graham Chatfield, of Arun Marine Designs,
who is a master in aluminium boat design. We expect 8.5 knots
from the 130 hp Nanni diesel inboard engine with conventional
shaft drive. For those not wishing to have this speed capability
the smaller Nanni 62hp unit will give much more economical cruising
with a maximum of 7 knots.
The standard boat will have an outside steering position with
all controls and navigation instruments here. There will be an
optional interior steering position introduced during 2007.
